How the extractor works

Three steps — the same ones an accountant takes with an invoice in hand — done in seconds and shown on the document.

Reading

Reads the document

A document-reading model extracts the requisites from a PDF or a photo — in any language, iPhone HEIC and rotated shots included. If the first engine declines, the second takes over.

Marking

Shows where from

Every value carries its place on the document. On a PDF with a text layer the mark is exact to the letter; on a photo the words are read by OCR over the very picture you see. A value not found in the text is marked as derived or unverified — never passed off as read.

Checking

Checks whether it ties together

The VAT number — live in VIES. Company ID against VAT number. Line items against the net amount, net amount against the VAT, total against both. Dates — in the order the law expects.

The extracted data is a proposal, not a booking. Review it before entering it. The file is read once in memory and is not stored; the answer is not cached. For the daily limit we count only requests per IP address.

This tool draws on official public sources or a named AI engine — the line under the tool says which — and is offered free, “as is”, without warranty. Results can be incomplete, out of date or misread — always confirm against the official source before you act on them. Nothing here is legal, tax or professional advice.

There’s no sign-in and we keep no history of your checks, and we never sell or share anything. To keep the tool fast and prevent abuse, a result may be cached for a few minutes and requests are counted per IP address — nothing about what you enter is stored permanently.

What you check goes only to the source that answers it — the official registry, or the AI engine named under the tool — and nowhere else — the longer story is in the privacy notice.
